At the walk-in center the staff is composed of licensed mental health professionals, supervised mental health professional in training and other human service professional to provide clinical services. The wellbeing of each individual is an important concern for YFGC’s staff, therefore; striving for personal excellence and professionalism is a mission.
YFGC, through its walk- in center is devoted to meet the emerging and imminent mental health needs of youth and families in our community to enhance quality of life and prevent dishonest activities.
YFGC provide crisis intervention, individual therapy for children, adults and family. In addition, we provide case management, referral and run many support group and counseling group such as anger management, anxiety and depression group, psycho educational group, self-help group.
The first visit is free for St Lucie County residents. However, we have to charge a fee for our services so we can stay open. The fees are based on a sliding scale reflecting the household income. Therefore, minimizing the impact of the fee on your situation is our hope.
We are open Monday – Friday 9:00 Am to 5:00 Pm No appointment is necessary just walk-In. We are here for you.

- Identification : Driver’s License, Military I.D, State I.D
- 2 Proof of residency : Current Utility Bill – Recent Receipt
- 2 Months Proof of Income : Current Pay Stub – Tax Form-Disability
